- Founded in 1995 by Kevin Dunlap and Tim Gavin, DVS has expanded their footwear line from skateboarding to women, kids and toddlers.
The DVS team has also expanded their sponsorship from specifically skateboarders, now to snowboard, wakeboard, wakeskate, motocross, surf, and race car teams.

DVS International Surfing Day Challenge
The most alternative material ridden on a wave challenge....The person to send in a video of them riding the most unique object on a wave. Get creative and grab the air mattress, dad's cooler, a piece of wood, trash can lid or what ever else you think you can surf on other then a standard surfboard!
