ISD08 rocked the beaches of Maui...From Hookipa Beach Park on Maui's North Shore where 75 volunteers cleaned the reef and beach and planted 200 pohinahina native plants...with the help of $2,000 contributions from Robbie and Katie Naish and Kona Brewing Co...to Honolua Bay where dedicated waterpeople combed the shoreline in memory of Ron Cassidy who died this year at Puerto Escondito doing what he loved best: SURFING! It was Ron's birthday and the Save Honolua Coalition celebrated ISD in Ron's honor...Aloha to all waterpeople from Jan Roberson, Surfrider Maui Chapter Chair
