Inspiring work and activism... check out maverickssurf.com for amazing images of one of California's crown jewels... a wave phenomenon we strive to protect and use to educate people of all ages on the natural environmentalism of surfing.

About Your Organization
Surfrider Foundation and Quiksilver Foundation Partner to Create Special Edition Boardshort

The Surfrider Foundation has partnered with the Quiksilver Foundation to create the Slightly Choppy special edition boardshort. The Slightly Choppy will be available this summer for $59.50 at Quiksilver retail stores nationwide and online at www.quiksilver.com, with a portion of the proceeds from each sale benefiting the Surfrider Foundation.

“Quiksilver and the Surfrider Foundation have had a close, long standing relationship for many years, and we feel privileged to further support their organization in a creative and unique way with the Slightly Choppy boardshort,” says Eddie Anaya, Director of Quiksilver Marketing.

The Slightly Choppy boardshort features original artwork donated by Quiksilver’s renowned designer Scott Richards and includes the Surfrider Foundation’s iconic wave logo throughout the patchwork design, which is printed onto 100% eco-friendly organic cotton.

“We had a lot of fun working with Quiksilver and their design team,” says Surfrider Foundation Director of Marketing Matt McClain. “From the design to the construction, this short really captures what we are about as an organization.”
